Rural / Regional Support

Monthly / termly on site visits with regular virtual & ongoing support - 1 year

We work with schools at regional areas to provide evidence based interventions to school students and train teachers up to implement these interventions successfully. This program involves a workshop being conducted, followed up with face to face training at schools on a termly basis for 4 terms. We work closely with teachers to support them with students identified to have high needs and behaviours of concerns at school. We conduct on site visits twice a term and each visit can last for 3-5 days per visit depending on the number of students requiring support; we then conduct follow up check ins during the term on a regular basis with school teachers.

1:1 Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

Provided by an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Specialist

Our ACT specialist provides a specialised support approach integrating Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, mindfulness and consciousness shifting techniques to help and support carers and parents to consciously carry out their roles and provide their best to their child/children. She works 1:1 with parents and children providing profound strategies and techniques to help them identify antecedents leading to behaviours that are not helpful which lead to consequences that are not functional for them which moves away from their values. She works actively to overcome their barriers and challenges by helping them move towards replacement behaviours in line with their goals and committed action.
